Hampton Springs Fishery is one of the leading day-ticket fisheries in the North-west.
Set in the scenic countryside of south Cheshire beneath the Bickerton Hills, it is an idyllic and peaceful environment to enjoy a day’s sport.
A well-established fishery, Hampton Springs has eight superb spring-fed lakes with purpose-built swims and easy access.
Stocked with our own farm-reared coarse fish, you can expect to catch quality fish from a wide range of species.
With both match and pleasure waters and a specimen carp lake to choose from, Hampton Springs is an ideal venue for experienced, competition, novice and junior anglers.
Facilities include toilets(gents, ladies & disabled) and plenty of car parking throughout the fishery allowing good access to the lakes.
Poplars, the first pool you encounter on entering the fishery, is half an acre in size with 16 pegs. It is in a sheltered situation with mature trees bordering its far bank, ideal for those windy days and winter fishing. This two acre lake has 25 pegs and is widely regarded as one of the best mixed fishery lakes in the North-West. Well-stocked with a wide variety of species it is very popular with the pleasure angler who is after a specimen fish whether it is carp, bream perch or tench. For a more secluded and quiet situation it is worth trying this 15 peg, half acre lake set behind Alice Springs. It has a separate car park with close proximity to pegs. This is a good pole lake as every peg has an island to fish to at 12-15m. Opened 2006 Willows is the most recent match lake at Hampton Springs and with 35 pegs and a bridge to the far side it has become a favourite match lake for some of our regular clubs.
