Hampton Springs Fishery is one of the leading day-ticket fisheries in the North-west.
Set in the scenic countryside of south Cheshire beneath the Bickerton Hills, it is an idyllic and peaceful environment to enjoy a day’s sport.
A well-established fishery, Hampton Springs has eight superb spring-fed lakes with purpose-built swims and easy access.
Stocked with our own farm-reared coarse fish, you can expect to catch quality fish from a wide range of species.
With both match and pleasure waters and a specimen carp lake to choose from, Hampton Springs is an ideal venue for experienced, competition, novice and junior anglers.
Facilities include toilets(gents, ladies & disabled) and plenty of car parking throughout the fishery allowing good access to the lakes.

Poplars
Poplars, the first pool you encounter on entering the fishery, is half an acre in size with 16 pegs. It is in a sheltered situation with mature trees bordering its far bank, ideal for those windy days and winter fishing. Alice Springs
This two acre lake has 25 pegs and is widely regarded as one of the best mixed fishery lakes in the North-West. Well-stocked with a wide variety of species it is very popular with the pleasure angler who is after a specimen fish whether it is carp, bream perch or tench. Oasis
For a more secluded and quiet situation it is worth trying this 15 peg, half acre lake set behind Alice Springs. It has a separate car park with close proximity to pegs. This is a good pole lake as every peg has an island to fish to at 12-15m. Rock Pool
One of the best and most consistent match lakes on the fishery, Rock pool has earned its reputation over the years, regularly providing the winning weights in open matches. 2 1/2 acres of water with 4/5 islands and nice features it has a range of different swims to challenge and excite both the match and pleasure angler. Meadows
A smaller lake than Rock pool, Meadows is only 1 acre but because of its shape, narrow and long, it still manages to have 30 pegs. Pole and waggler are the best methods both popular with match and pleasure angler alike.Although well-stocked with carp which can reach 8-10lbs there is a good head of barbel in Meadows which show throughout the year and in some cases providing the winning bag in match
Long Island
Long island at 2 1/2 acres and with a bridge across to an island can accommodate up to 50 anglers and consequently is a popular venue for the larger club matches while still offering sport for the pleasure angler during the week. Willows
Opened 2006 Willows is the most recent match lake at Hampton Springs and with 35 pegs and a bridge to the far side it has become a favourite match lake for some of our regular clubs. Although the fish stock is not as mature as in some of our more established pools it has plenty of fish in 2-4lb category. Folly – Specimen Carp Lake
Exclusively a Day Ticket Water.
