Coppice Lane Pools was established in 2001 as a commercial fishery.
It comprises of six beautifully maintained pools on a 18-acre site which offer a combination of mixed pleasure and match angling.
There are 145 pegs in total, 137 are available to pleasure anglers and 8 pegs on our specimen pool.
The lakes are stocked with Carp, Tench, Chub, Bream, Perch, Roach and Rudd.
All pools are spring fed, this provides a constant supply of high quality water through the pools.
The fishery is situated in an attractive and mature area of the forest of Mercia.
There is car parking and toilet facilities available on site.
All pegs are hard based, and large enough to accommodate most anglers tackle.
Unlike many commercial fisheries, Coppice Lane Pools bucks the trend of being an out and out carp venue.
The Top Pool, Bridge Pool and Becketts are predominantly carp, tench and chub, but Middle and Bottom pools offer a fantastic variety of different species.
Coppice Mill specimen pool offers over a 100 double figure carp ranging from commons, mirrors, leather and ghosties.
Now open, the new Specimien Pool has an average depth of around 5ft and the deepest part is 7ft by the cottage. Bridge pool has been open since March 2009 and is available for day tickets and match bookings. This new pool is ideal for pole, waggler and feeder fishing and suits both the serious match angler and pleasure anglers alike. The top pool caters for 28 anglers. Since the top pool was restocked in Feb 2010, all the silver fish have been moved into bottom and middle pool, this pool is now a carp only water, with the exception of a few tench and perch. This pool caters for 12 anglers, this mature natural pool and is one of the old, original pools on the complex around 40 years old. It is stocked mainly with Roach, Skimmers, Rudd, Perch, Tench and the odd big wild Carp. This is another old, natural pool that caters for 10 anglers. It is surrounded by mature and established trees and plants, and has a variety of reeds and lillies to fish against. This is mainly stocked with Roach, Rudd, Perch, Tench, and small crucian carp. There are some larger wild carp plus some decent sized Roach/Bream hybrids.
