Situated in North Shropshire and is set deep in the heart of unspoilt countryside away from noise allowing you to relax and enjoy your time with us.

We are one of Shropshire's premier day ticket waters and we are also a bcac qualifying venue that offers both day and night fishing with only carp stocked in the lake.

The purpose built 9 acre lake offers fishing for all types of anglers from fishing open water to small reed beds and islands, we offer 16 spacious barked swims ensuring you are dry and comfortable in all weathers.

Merrington Fishery is situated in North Shropshire and is set deep in the heart of unspoilt countryside in extremely peaceful and tranquil surroundings allowing you to relax and enjoy your time away from the stresses of everyday life.

The main lake is only stocked with carp but we have two smaller match / pleasure pools which are ideal for beginners to the sport or those who enjoy watching a float bobbing about for a few hours.

The purpose built 9 acre carp lake offers fishing for anglers who have a bit more experience, as it can be quite tough at times but the rewards are there if you get it right.

We also have our new lake called Merlin lake which is better for anglers new to the sport!This lake is 2 acres in size and only has 3 large barked swims.

Each swim commands its own bay so there should be no disputes over boundaries.

The lake has stock of about 60 carp to 20lbs but they are growing well and we expect this lake to be extremely popular very soon.

All the lakes are chalked and netted every year to ensure the best for our fish.

Please be aware that when the fish start spawning we close the lakes and we also give them a bit of time after to rest.

Any anglers booked on are refunded in full.
