Coking Farm Fishery is a well managed coarse fishery located in the heart of the Blackmore Vale, on the A30, half way between Henstridge and West Stour.
On site is a shower and toilet block with access to fresh water.
There is also a well-stocked tackle shop supplying baits from companies such as CC Moore, Mainline and Velocity, as well as sweetcorn and a full range of fox tackle, clothing and tackle from other companies.
We also sell cold soft drinks, chocolate and there is a catering van offering breakfast and evening food.
There is a butcher on site who stocks local meats and home produced sausages and burgers.
There is also a touring park with hard standings for 30 caravans located close to the lakes.
The lakes together total over 20 acres, the farm is also the home to the Coking Farm Caravan Park.
The fishery consists of 5 well-stocked lakes catering for everyone from the serious match angler to the weeklong session carp angler wishing to pit his or her wits against the wariest of carp and even catfish.
There is a lake to cater for everybody’s taste and preferred method of fishing.
The lakes average 4 acres each, which we believe is a nice size, not too big and not too small.

Tucked away on the edge of Fifehead woods is Woodland Specimen Lake, which is classed at medium difficulty out of the 3 specimen lakes, containing 300+ carp and 30 catfish. Oak Lake is 4.5 acres in size and has an average depth of 6ft. The lake contains 400 fish in the 12lb - 30lb+ bracket with a large head of 20lb+ fish. We now have some great catch reports from this lake with 10 known 30lb+ carp and over 50% of the stock is over 20lb. Long lake is our other new lake and is what we call our runs water. It is 4 1/2 acres in size and the depth ranges from 4 - 8ft. The lake contains a massize head of 1200 carp between 5lb and 20lb and some catfish. Meadow Lake is a 4 1/4 acre lake with two islands. Stocked with 120 hand picked carp averaging 20lb. The lake is stocked so that we get a good growth rate out of the fish and it will be challenging fishing. Meadow lake has 10 well spaced swims on it. The depths vary between 6ft and 15ft. Rush lake is our existing pleasure lake that is about 2 3/4 acres in size and depths vary from 11ft to 8ft. Rush lake has 30 pegs on it. Pleasure bags sometimes are estimated at 200lb plus on many occasions.
