Drayton Reservoir

Drayton Reservoir

1 Acre(s)

Drayton was originally stocked in the early 1990s with a large number of small carp averaging only a few ounces in weight.

For several years it was the most prolific match fishery in the UK.

These fish have now grown on and average between 12 and 15lbs in weight with many fish weighing in at over 20lbs.

Most visitors to Drayton do well even on their first visit, with large catches of carp now being commonplace.

Most modern carp fishing techniques will produce results with the best sport to be had in the afternoons and evenings.

There are also plenty of roach and perch present, but these are rarely fished for.

There is also excellent pike fishing in winter with a venue record of 26lbs.

There is a portable toilet on site.
