The Specimen Lake was dug in 2010 and is now starting to mature nicely in to a picturesque lake with lots of features and sun traps.

A large open lake incorporating five bays and two islands with picturesque views across the water and surrounding landscape.

The lake is three acres with an average depth of 6ft and several deep holes reaching 13ft.

This is perfect home for its 100 resident carps ranging from 12 to 35lb which gives the anglers a 1 in 3 chance of catching a 20lb + carp.

There is marginal shelving around the lake which give a great habitat for the reel and Lyles to grown.

There is two gravel bars which brings a lot of bits in the summer months.

There are eight large swims on the lake with easy walking distance and two of them you can drive to making easy access for disabled anglers.

We also have a wood cabin with decking over the lake to fish from and has which has electricity.
