Boyton Cross is a mature 5 acre gravel pit on the outskirts of Chelmsford.

There are fish up to 40lbs including 12 over 30lbs and, although not the easiest water, the rewards are there to be had.

We have changed it over recent months and been selective with the stock.

There is now a strict feeding programme in place to ensure that all of the fish grow at a healthy rate.

I feel sure that over the coming years Boyton Cross tickets will be in very high demand.

At £550 a year you are paying for exclusivity.

It is only a 15 man syndicate ensuring that the banks are always very quiet.

You will never have to wait for a swim at Boyton.

It also gives a nice old school feel to the syndicate giving every member a chance to have their say and make a difference.
