Angling Active (previously known as Angling Centre Stirling) is a family run, father and son business partnership – set up in 1999.

Martin, the father of the team, retired from the construction industry and decided their passion for angling should be put to good use.

With the support of his son Chris, they stepped into the fast moving and exciting world of retail.

The location of the store at the heart of some of Scotland's most popular fishing destinations ensured the small tackle store quickly outgrew its humble beginnings and in 2011 the new location at the Agricultural Centre in Stirling was opened.

This cemented Angling Active's position as one of the largest tackle stores in Scotland and allowed further investment in stock and the online and mail order business.
