Established in 2004 by well-known carp angler Jon Finch, Bankside is an expanding, family run business that has naturally progressed into Gloucestershire's Largest Fishing Tackle Store.

Initially we catered specifically for the modern day Carp Angler, however we have now also expanded into the Barbel, Match and Predator sectors.

Over the years Jon has probably become best known for winning the 2008 British Carp Angling Championships, a feat he achieved using his own range of baits developed since Bankside opened for business twelve years ago.

Jon’s ability to source ‘niche’ products that are not available to anyone else has seen him build up a range of baits that are currently attracting a huge amount of interest in the carp world.
