There is a program in place to put a selection of fish over 40lb for our syndicate lake into our specimen lake and this is taking place at the moment with one over 40lb already been put in.

We don't rest on the back of one big fish we have plenty of stock in this water that has gone through the high thirty barrier and plenty more that will in future.

We have a rolling programme of stocking so you will catch singles from time to time we hide nothing here we need you to understand our forward thinking policy.

The lake is stocked with Carp in excess of 40lb with a good number of 30's, an excellent head of 20's and numerous low to mid doubles.

Best tactics - You will need specimen carp tackle on this lake Boillies, pellet, corn and meat proven to be the best baits, surface baits will work well in the summer months when the carp are not spawning with zig rigs coming into play at any time of year.

A well presented bait on a good basic rig will pay dividends.
